KT Tunstall storms it at Inchyra!

KT Tunstall storms it at Inchyra!

Inchyra was turned into almost a mini festival on 28th August when our biggest star to date played the Arts Club. Inchyra was the last stop on her 'Highlands & Islands Tour' of Scotland, just ahead of the launch of her new album, KIN, on 9th September.

As with just about all shows at Inchyra, we pulled in our street food friends, and ticket holders arrived from an hour before the show to feast on delicious wood oven pizza from Muckle Backit Oven, fabulous tortilla chilli bowls from Byre chef Thomas and artisan venison burgers from Screaming Peacock.  With the Byre Bar set up outside as well as inside on a glorious evening, the party got off to a great start!

Support on the night came from up and coming Scottish singer song writer Callum Beattie who had joined the tour for the last few shows - who's set went down really well with the Inchyra crowd. Callum had visited Inchyra before when he was spotted busking on the streets in Perth and asked to play for a wedding here!

KT came on stage to a massive welcome and absolutely didn't disappoint the sell out crowd. As well as songs from her new album, many of which sounded like we'd know them for years, over 500 people were thrilled with all the greats - Other Side of the World, Black Horse & The Cherry Tree and an amazing encore of Suddenly I See.

What a night it was - and so good to see people using their membership of the Arts Club to grab pre-sale tickets.

Thanks to the whole Inchyra team and to Beyond Presents for making this great night happen.
