This was a fantastic Celtic double headliner to kick off the year. Top bluegrass Dundonians and friends of Inchyra Wire & Wool returned to the Byre alongside the Irish band Old Hannah.
Old Hannah are a band from the west of Ireland who've taken a deep-rooted love of all things folk, country and traditional, and have spun those influences into a unique and sophisticated sound that's both contemporary and timeless. Adding drums,trumpets and outstanding four-part harmonies to a chorus of string instruments,these old friends bring audiences to a standstill on the regular.
Wire & Wool are well known to many Byre regulars who have seen their foot stomping, energetic, and frankly sometimes exhausting, stints on our stage.
