Double Bill: Ben Glover and Angel Snow 5th March 2015

Ben Glover has been hailed as the new David Gray.  From his roots in a small coastal village in Northern Ireland, Ben traded a degree in law to pursue music.   Now living in Nashville, he has been called "one of the finest writers in Ireland today".

In the past year he has garnered rave reviews for both concerts and albums and played in Belfast, London, Glasgow, Copenhagen, Oslo, Edinburgh, Dublin, New York, Turin and Brussels as well has dates at the famed Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles and the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

His new album, 'Atlantic', bring him back to his Irish roots and bear fruits from collaborations with Gretchen Peters and Mary Gauthier.   The result is his finest offering yet.

'Ben Glover's new album Do We Burn The Boats? is an absolute triumph' THE IRISH NEWS

'.. hints somehow of Paul Simon, KT Tunstall, Villagers perhaps, and even, gulp, Coldplay.   It's a strangely satisfying mix.' THE DAILY MIRROR

Rising Nashville star Angel Snow has persevered with her music waiting, like many, for the break.   Meeting acclaimed star Alison Krauss brought that break and an introduction from Alison to her brother Vik resulted in a 'cool creative chemistry' and some wonderful songs.   Three ended up on the new Alison Krauss & Union Station album and eight are on Angel's own sophomore album.

If you caught Peter Bradley Adams, Robby Hecht and David Berkeley at the Arts Club earlier in 2014, then Angel is an artist for you.
